Comrades:
Progressive Urdu poet, Faiz Ahmed Faiz, at a café with friend and
leader of the Communist Party of Pakistan (CPP), Sajjad Zaheer. Both
Faiz and Zaheer were arrested in 1951 for planning a ‘communist coup’
against the government with Major-General Akbar Khan. Faiz was released
in 1957
